The Institute of Philosophy of the Universidad Austral announces a competition for 3 scholarships to participate in the Interdisciplinary Research Week “From Brain to Self”, which will take place in Buenos Aires from July 31 to August 3, 2017, under the auspices of Templeton World Charity Foundationwithin the project “The brain and the person. What new insights do neurosciences bring to our understanding of the human person?”.
Three scholarships of up to USD 1.500 each will be awarded to help cover travel and accommodation expenses in Buenos Aires. Those interested in attending must submit their application before [date/date]. May 12th 2017 to the email address filosofia@austral.edu.ar the next documentation:
a) letter of intent;
b) complete curriculum vitae;
c) current academic affiliation at a Spanish-speaking Latin American university;
d) names of two reference people.
The decision will be communicated before May 31.
PhD students, recent PhDs and academics in the fields of cognitive science, philosophy or theology, whose research projects reflect an explicit interest in interdisciplinary research in cognitive science and philosophy/theology, may apply for the scholarship.
