On Thursday, March 30, the School of Education of the Universidad Austral He signed a collaboration agreement with the School of Humanities of the Anáhuac University, in the city of Puebla, Mexico, with the objective of promoting the contribution between the doctoral programs of both universities.
Dr. Maribel Castañeda, Director of the Doctorate in Leadership and Management of Educational Institutions (Anáhuac University) and Dr. Julio C. Durand, Director of the Doctorate in Higher University Education (DESU) (Universidad Austral), signed the agreement.

“The formation of academic networks is a key component of a doctoral program, which is why at DESU we are promoting concrete collaborations that will allow for co-authored publications and co-directed theses in the defined lines of research. The connection with Mexico is of great interest to the School of Education,” stated Dr. Julio Durand.
The collaboration between both universities begins with the exchange of information, a list of potential tutors and thesis directors, identification of lines of research and similar academic activities that will be jointly promoted.
The agreement was developed from the contact generated by the participation of the Dean, Dr. Santiago Bellomo, in the seminar: International Dean's Course Latin America 2022/2023, sponsored by the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service).
