The book, the culmination of a three-year project in Angola that closely followed various local and international field experiences, includes 31 case studies with input from 32 agribusiness specialists. It addresses the crucial role of agribusiness in Angola's socioeconomic development and explores several facets of the sector, from opportunities for economic growth to practices that can ensure the sustainability of Angola's natural resources.

The book is a contribution to a critical area for the development of African countries, and Angola in particular: agribusiness. At the launch event, Paladino highlighted “the importance of making the opportunities presented by African agriculture known internationally”In this regard, he considered that “An effective way to show that potential is through the case studies that we have written and included in this book, two of which have already been presented at the prestigious international academic forum of IFAMA (International Food and Agribusiness Management Association)”.

The book launch "The transformative impact of agribusiness: an engine of development for Angola" It marks a significant step in promoting an in-depth dialogue on the future of agribusiness in that country. The work not only serves as a strategic guide for entrepreneurs, policymakers, and anyone interested in Angola's sustainable development, but also allows for the identification of opportunities for international collaboration with leading agribusiness countries such as Argentina. The project was driven by the Association for Agribusiness and Entrepreneurship (SEIVA), an Angolan non-profit organization whose objective is to support rural areas and promote their development, in partnership with Ondjyla Foundation, a private Swiss institution dedicated to training and rural development that improves inclusive and sustainable models of wealth creation.
