This is QS University Rankings’ sixth regional edition –Latin America 2016.

According to QS (Quacquarelli Symonds), Universidad Austral ranks among Argentina’s top three higher education institutions and tops the ranking for Argentine private universities. It also ranks twenty-fourth among 300 universities in Latin America.

Thus, Universidad Austral consolidates its position among internationally renowned universities, remaining at the top in the world’s leading QS University Rankings’ 2016 Latin American edition.

Thirty-four Argentine universities have been included in the 300-institution regional ranking published by QS. Thirteen of them are private.

The QS University Rankings: Latin America is part of the QS World University Rankings and the QS World University Rankings by Subject, all relying on a unique methodology that surveys universities across eight categories.

Traditionally, Universidad Austral has topped QS Rankings in the “Academic Reputation”, “Reputation among Employers”, and “Student-Faculty Ratio” categories.

This time, a new category, “International Research Networks”, has been added to show the need for international partnerships to advance research quality and to attract the world’s best students and faculty.
