Promoting the study of Engineering and Applied Sciences is the goal of the Roberto Rocca Graduate Fellowship Program. To that end, this program offers support to graduates from fields such as materials science; mechanical, chemical, electrical and oil engineering. Inspired by the late Engineer Roberto Rocca, the program is funded by Tenaris, Ternium and Techint.
Graduates from Universidad Austral’s Engineering School can now apply for the Roberto Rocca Program, requesting one of the 15 fellowships awarded to pursue doctoral degrees abroad on any of the disciplines mentioned earlier.
The application period starts by mid-October every year and lasts two months. Applicants may submit their applications by December 11, 2015. Fellowship winners are selected by the Program’s Scientific Committee, consisting of corporate sponsors’ top executives.
Graduate Fellowships are granted for a two-year period and may be used to pay for enrollment, tuition and living expenses, with fellows being able to choose the university of their preference. These scholarships may be renewed for an additional two-year period, subject to Roberto Rocca Education Program’s approval.
