With support from Santander Río, Campus Fiat, Dietrich, Garbarino, Campus Suites, Pizza Cero, and Andrómaco, Universidad Austral organized its latest Campus Day celebration. Students, faculty and staff members from all UA schools came together to enjoy a day-long event filled with sports, music and games.

The morning started with both female and male soccer, tennis and hockey tournaments. At the same time, participants were able to join the Campus on Bike ride across UA’s Campus and Austral Park, with welcomed refreshments at the finish line in Campus Suites. The main attraction of the day was the climbing and rappelling event that drew students and officials alike, as they dared to take on the climb for different skill levels. At the Campus Suites, attendants were also able to play mini golf. In the afternoon, a number of games were organized, and the cross-country run topped off the event.

Event participants also enjoyed the choir and University Life Program bands’ live performances on stage. There were also stands hosted by Santander Rio, Pro Salud, Acción Universitaria, and Dietrich.

To close the event, the winners from every competition were announced, and the Cup was awarded. For the second year in a row, UA’s School of Business Sciences won the Cup. Raffles were also organized, notably featuring a number of prizes provided by Garbarino, including two 24-inch LED TV sets and two Samsung tablets. Other prizes also included overnight stays and luncheons at Campus Suites, dinner vouchers for Pizza Cero, and Dermaglós skin lotion sets.

With winners celebrating their victories and prizes, this celebration once again delighted and brought the entire Universidad Austral community together.
