In digital landscapes bursting with content, how can we help spark that connection between brands and people? That was the question that guided us in the third FC graduate meeting of undergraduate and postgraduate students of the Faculty of Communication (FC) Universidad Austral, geared towards those who work in brand narratives.
This reunion space brought together industry professionals to reflect on how to build authentic stories that keep brands relevant in a constantly changing ecosystem of platforms.
The meeting began with welcoming remarks from the dean, Marcela Pizarroand the teacher's presentation Ethel Pis Diez, to give rise to the workshop Micro-narratives for your personal brand, lead by Marcela Frias, Director of the Bachelor's Degree in Design and the Diploma in Narratives for Brands.
Under the slogan “We are keys” (that we open and close doors, that we contain possibility, expectation towards new spaces and territories) we discover the power of presenting ourselves in a unique way, even through metaphors. A creative exercise to ask ourselves: What stories do we open to the world?
Through a dynamic of exchange and shared dialogue, the prompts invited us to rethink how stories enable us to connect emotionally and culturally with other people.
After the activity, there was an opportunity for the networking and exchange between undergraduate and postgraduate students with a common area of interest: the convergence of design, marketing, communication, content production and branding.
This was the third of four FC alumni gatherings in 2025, organized by professional area. Only one more is coming! If you're an FC graduate and want to participate, find out more! by entering here.
