Omar H. Pivetta is a physician, graduated from the University of Buenos Aires, specializing in Medical Genetics. He was a member of the Scientific Researcher Career at CONICET (until 2009) and Director of the National Center for Medical Genetics (until 2008). He is President of the Academic Council of Ethics in Medicine of the National Academy of Medicine and Full Professor of Genetics at the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires. Ángela Suburo holds a doctorate in Medicine from the University of Buenos Aires, specializing in neuroscience. She is a Principal Investigator at CONICET and a Professor of Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the University of Buenos Aires. Mariano Asla holds a degree in Philosophy from the University of Cádiz (UCA) and a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Navarra. He is the author of the book "Universal Moral Grammar: A Cognitive Approach to Moral Law?", published by EUNSA. He is an adjunct professor of Philosophical Anthropology and Ethics at the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences of the University of Navarra. Her area of interest is philosophical naturalism, as well as the question of human universals and innatism.
Transhumanism and the Future of Medicine – Jorge Insúa
Jorge Insúa graduated with a medical degree from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) in 1978 and trained in various specialties. He was a resident at hospitals in Argentina and at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine (New York). Author of a master's thesis in bioethics, geriatrics, and health services, he divides his time between clinical care, research, and teaching, working at the UBA, the Austral University Hospital, and Favaloro University.
