Theoretical and practical training workshop on the Meaning-Centered Therapy and Essential Care model, specially designed for the psychotherapeutic care of cancer patients and in palliative care.
Meaning-Centered Psychotherapy, developed by Dr. William Breitbart, is a therapeutic approach structured in eight sessions, designed to address emotional distress and promote a sense of purpose in cancer patients.
This therapy has been scientifically proven effective in reducing symptoms such as anxiety, depression, and hopelessness in the final stages of life. Furthermore, MCP contributes to improving the emotional well-being, hope, and quality of life of cancer patients.
Dr. Tirso Ventura has adapted this model to a four-session structure, especially applicable to patients in palliative care, which he called Meaning-Centered Psychotherapy and Essential Care.

Those programs or courses that have ministerial accreditation will display the resolution or file number and corresponding accreditation year at the top of the page. Programs that do not have accreditation will extend "certificate" to the participant and not the title.
