4th year student Sweden and Barcelona
“I spent a semester in Barcelona at the International University of Catalonia. I had the opportunity to participate in simulation exercises with operating rooms, consulting rooms, inpatient wards, and all the necessary equipment to make the simulation as realistic as possible. For each subject, a specific situation was simulated where we had to act according to what we had learned and then discuss the best interventions. It was very interesting to see the role of nursing in another country, the number of people studying the profession compared to Argentina, and the number of men who are interested in specializing in the field. The exchange program far exceeded everything I had imagined; I was able to meet people from all over the world and learn about their cultures. Thanks to this program, I formed wonderful friendships with people I met up with in their respective countries, and we were able to share a bit of our European travels with them.”
