Associate Professor of Public International Law and Executive Director of the Diploma in Human Rights. Co-editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Human Rights.

He has extensive experience in human rights litigation before the Inter-American and United Nations systems. He is a co-founder of the Latin American Center for Human Rights (CLADH), an NGO with consultative status at the UN. In 2010, he received the Outstanding Young Person of Mendoza Award in the Human Rights and Humanitarian Service category from the Mendoza Business Council.

He has been a visiting professor of the Inter-American Human Rights System at the University of Ottawa (Canada), a visiting researcher at the Centre de Recherche sur les Droits de l'Homme et le Droit Humanitaire at the Université Panthéon-Assas (Paris 2), a visiting professor of the Master's programs in Human Rights at the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés (Bolivia) and the Universidad de Navarra (Spain), and of the Master's program in Public International Law at the Universidad Católica Argentina.

He has published the books “The legal value of international human rights standards. A study from the theory of the sources of international law” (Thomson Reuters, 2025) and “The human rights of legal persons. Ownership of rights and legitimation in the Inter-American System” (Porrúa, 2015, in co-authorship with Fernando Toller), and several articles and book chapters in the areas of public international law and international human rights law.

Member of the Institute of Public International Law of the National Academy of Law and Social Sciences of Buenos Aires. Member of the Argentine Association of International Law, the European Society of International Law and the British Institute of International and Comparative Law.
