The song 𝘎𝘢𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘮𝘶𝘴 𝘐𝘨𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘳 plays. The gowns advance down the aisle. Caps, familiar faces, restrained emotion. 

A graduation is a dance of symbols. And they all signify celebration, joy, and hope. That's why the ceremony was a celebration full of meaning for the entire university community of the Faculty.  

They receive their diplomas in their hands, one by one, name by name. Applause erupts.  

On this occasion, we celebrate the graduation of the second graduating class of the Bachelor of Design, the twenty-ninth of the Degree in communicationAnd, in turn, master's and doctoral graduates were awarded degrees from the Graduate School of Communication. 

The parade of gowns is followed by words.  

Speeches on behalf of the graduates, delivered by Michelle Bombardiere, José Guzmán Moviglia, and Ezequiel Inzaghi. Also dspeeches on behalf of the authorities and the teaching staff. 

La Dr. Marcela PizarroThe Dean of the Faculty addresses the graduates: “For us, your professors, and all of us who make up the Faculty and the University, you are a source of hope because we trust that through your hard work you will contribute to transforming and serving society. (…) Each of you is the future of this University, which always awaits you with open arms.” 

In turn, the Professor Fernando Ruiz, reflects on the professions of Communication and Design and their social impact in a changing context: “Living in this present university time, expanded with the past and the future, allows us to know what things WILL happen in the future and for which we have to be prepared.”  

And he adds: “If this Faculty provides good training in how design and communication contribute to solving those perennial human problems, we are producing knowledge that does not expire, that is useful for today, for the near future and for the distant future.” 

Accompanied by family and friends, with the presence of Rector Julián Rodríguez, Faculty authorities, and the teaching staff, the ceremony for the new Austral graduates concludes.
