He is a lawyer, graduated from the National University of La Plata (UNLP, 1990), and holds a Master's degree in Business Law from the Universidad Austral (1996), Master in Administrative Law from the Universidad Austral (1998), and Doctor of Law, with the highest qualification, from the Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC, Spain), 2010.
He is a Full Professor of Roman Law, Sports Law and Sports Arbitration at the Universidad Austral and at various universities in the country and abroad.
In Universidad Austral He was Executive Director of the Master in Business Law between 2001 and 2009. He is currently also Director of the Arbitration Department.
He has served on various Peer Review Committees of CONEAU (National Commission for University Evaluation and Accreditation of the Ministry of Education of the Argentine Republic) and is the Director of the Journal of Sports Law of the Universidad Austral.
He has been a Member of the Disciplinary Committee of the ENARD (National High Performance Entity of the Argentine Republic), President of the National Anti-Doping Disciplinary Tribunal of the Argentine Republic and Member of the Disciplinary Tribunal of the Argentine Super League of Football.
He is currently an arbitrator for the CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sport, Lausanne, Switzerland) and the Brazilian Center for Mediation and Arbitration (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil).
He has been invited to give lectures at the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL), has participated in international congresses organized by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) and the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), and in congresses on Sports Law in South America.
He is the author of the books Football and its legal frameworkMarcial Pons, 2012 and Argentine football. A legal and political history of its organization, Marcial Pons, 2016.
He has published numerous articles on History, Sports Law and Sports Arbitration in the main specialized journals of Spain, Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina.
