In the final year of the Frente de Todos administration, Argentina dropped four places in the ranking by the NGO Transparency International (TI), which measures the perception of corruption in 180 countries. It fell from 94th to 98th place, sharing that position with Belarus, Albania, Ethiopia, Gambia, and Zambia. According to the 2023 Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) , Argentina scored 37 out of 100 points (the maximum score for the most transparent countries and zero for the most corrupt), placing it below the global average of 43 points. This represents a one-point decrease compared to the 2022 measurement.
