Last Monday, November 28, the Senate of the Province recognized the students and institutions that won the 2022 edition of the AgroMakers program. The ceremony took place in the Senate chamber and was led by the Vice Governor of the Province , Dr. Alejandra Rodenas , who highlighted the performance of the participants in such a prestigious competition.

During the ceremony, the students explained the different projects with which they participated in the hackathon that took place on October 19 at the headquarters of the Stock Exchange Rosario with the support of the Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation of the Province, and then they received their well-deserved awards.

Our University has been promoting the AgroMakers program since 2019 with the objective of to promote the formation of ideas, entrepreneurship, teamwork and innovation, in conjunction with the Stock Exchange Foundation Rosario, and accompanied by the Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation of the Province.

This year, participants were encouraged to develop innovative proposals that provide solutions to the following global challenges:
Development of solutions for energy saving, consumption and responsible production
Development of solutions for health care and promotion
 Development of productive and sustainable solutions for local development

We congratulate the educational community of the “Norma Aquino” school in Las Toscas, the “Juan Bautista Cabral” school in Villa Guillermina, and the “Colonia General Belgrano” school in Villa Minetti for this recognition, as well as those teachers from our institution who work tirelessly every day to carry out these types of projects that undoubtedly leave a positive impact on the region.
