Once again, Agromakers celebrates the entrepreneurial spirit of young people by recognizing the hard work and creativity of students from various towns in the province of Santa Fe. This year, more than 250 young people from 17 towns presented a total of 37 innovative projects, seeking solutions in key areas such as renewable energy, climate action, and local development.

The event, held last Wednesday, October 30th, at the Trading Facility of the Stock Exchange, not only highlighted the creativity and ingenuity of the participants, but was also a platform to award the most outstanding projects of the 2024 edition.

The 3 winning teams were:

• 3rd place: IEA (EETP of Villa Guillermina) – Automatic ecological greenhouse.
• 2nd place: Natural Film (Agrotécnica de Bigand) – Biodegradable film paper project made with beeswax.
• 1st place: HERMETIC CLOSURE (EESO 710 of Los Quirquinchos) – Project that reuses bicycle tires and inner tubes to manufacture hermetic closures for silo bags, offering an innovative and ecological solution.

In her speech, the Vice-Rector of the Campus Rosario Ana E. Galiano, from our University, highlighted:

“AgroMakers is not just this final stage, but the result of a full year of work. It’s about transforming good ideas into success stories, leveraging networks, learning from mistakes, and persisting in the effort.”

Celebrating its sixth edition, Agromakers continues to innovate and promote #EntrepreneurialDNA.

“Today we experienced a beautiful day, we want to congratulate everyone who participated and who joins this initiative year after year,” shared Marianela Fraire, Coordinator of the AgroMakers Program and member of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Laboratory of the Universidad Austral Headquarters Rosario.
