The Austral Agricultural Barometer, in its first edition of the year, reflects a scenario of very high confidence among Argentine agricultural producers. The overall index remains practically stable at its historical highs, while investment decisions in fixed assets register strong growth, reaching their highest value since the measurement began.
The survey, prepared by the Agribusiness and Food Center of the Universidad AustralThe survey shows that 63% of producers believe it is a good time to invest in land, machinery, or breeding stock. The 14% jump in investment intentions marks a historic record for the indicator and reinforces a climate of optimism at the start of 2026.
