As part of the entrepreneurial track our University offers to students close to graduating from various undergraduate programs, they visited the Rosario-based startup "Mosquita Feed," a company that emerged as a sustainable business idea among students at our university. Mosquita Feed won the Austral Entrepreneur Award in 2019, participated in our Innovation and Entrepreneurship Laboratory (LINE) incubation program, and has continued to grow.
The objective of this academic proposal is to encourage students to add value to society by launching new businesses with a triple impact: economic, social, and/or environmental. This will also encourage them to transform their business projects into real-life ventures within the framework of their final undergraduate thesis.
As with Mosquita Feed, the winning model of the Austral Entrepreneur Award then has the opportunity to incubate their project the following year. They receive expert advice from stakeholders in the Austral Community, as well as public and private actors in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. At the same time, the entrepreneurs are given a financial incentive to launch their startup.
By visiting this company, the students were able to connect with colleagues who had been in the same position as them, encouraging them to dream big and choose the entrepreneurial path. Thank you for having us!
