The European Union regulates the use of artificial intelligence

Slowly but surely, the European Union reached an agreement of undeniable importance for the regulation of artificial intelligence (AI). A technology that, even though we may be looking the other way, is changing our lives and will govern our destiny and that of our children in the coming years. I understand that the reader, just days away from a change of government, with all that this implies, along with the legacy inherited from those who left, finds it unappealing to think about the effects that artificial intelligence will have on their life: if we can barely afford our children's school tuition or a week's vacation, can we even think about these effects? The answer is definitely no, although at some point, before the tsunami hits us, we will have to consider them: better late than never.
