Every year the School of Education of the Universidad Austral Participate in the annual Solidarity for Education meeting organized by the Pilares Association with the purpose of raising funds to provide a quality education to more and more children.

Together with the Association, an alliance was developed with the aim of improving the educational effectiveness of boys and girls through the "PILLARS OF LEARNING" project, which consisted of the development of didactic sequences that are used within the framework of the school support provided by the foundation together with its volunteers.

This commitment aims to strengthen the educational paths of approximately 600 children per year who are experiencing socio-educational vulnerability, so that they can complete primary school with the basic knowledge necessary for their future.

The project involves more than 250 volunteers who provide school classes with an innovative approach, covering language arts, mathematics, and values. Pilares del Aprendizaje (Pillars of Learning) offers children the opportunity to participate in a program that strengthens their educational journey; it is a strategy that promotes inclusion in a community of more than 400 families.
