With the aim of promoting the strengthening of perinatal health management from a comprehensive and systemic perspective, the following was carried out on April 15 and 16: Perinatal Health Day - Leadership and teamwork for the transformation of health policies.
IAE Business School of the Universidad Austral It hosted the Perinatal Health Conference and supported the design and development of the content proposal, within the framework of an initiative organized by the Perez Companc Foundation, in alliance with the Austral University Hospital, the A. Miguel Larguía Neonatal Foundation (FunLarguía) and the Local Innovation Network (RIL).
The opening ceremony was led by the rector of the Universidad Austral, Mag. Julián Rodríguez, who gave the welcoming remarks and highlighted the importance of creating spaces for collaboration between academia, management teams, and public policy decision-makers to strengthen health systems.
For two days, management teams and health professionals from different provinces worked around three key areas:
-health understood as an ecosystem;
-leadership and teamwork;
-public policy management.
The objective was to translate the strategy into action, strengthening the coordination between the different levels of care and the various institutional actors.
