Ana Inés Navarro is a Full Professor and Director of the Department of Economics at the Faculty of Business Sciences and of the Master's Program in Applied Economics at the Universidad Austral, as well as a professor of IAE Business School, of the School of Government of the Faculty of Law of the Universidad Austral (Buenos Aires headquarters) and, visiting professor at North Florida University (USA). She is a tenured professor of Microeconomics at the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Statistics of the UNR. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of San Andrés (2008), has postgraduate studies at the Torcuato di Tella University (1997) and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the UNR (1981).

He has directed numerous investigations on Local Economics and Subnational Economic Indicators, which have been published for 22 years by the Universidad Australin the Economic Indicators of the Central Region. He has published studies on Social Policy, Income Mobility, and, more recently, AgTech. Several of these studies have been published in national and international journals such as the Journal of Economic Analysis, ILADES/Georgetown University, and the CFI.

She is co-author of *Studies in Applied Welfare Analysis: Papers from the Third ECINEQ*, published by Emerald Books. She is a member of the Argentine Association of Political Economy, the Argentine Society of Regional Economics, and currently the Council for International Studies at the University of Warsaw. Since 2020, she has been a member of the Academic Committee of the Doctoral Program in Economics at the National University of Rosario (UNR).
