Marcelo Rossi is a Full Professor and Director of the Finance Department at the Faculty of Business Sciences of the Universidad Austral since 1994, as well as a part-time Professor at IAE Business School since 2011. He is the director of the Master in Finance and a member of the Board of Directors of that academic unit, having served between 1996 and 2011 as Director of Postgraduate Studies and of the Master in Business Administration. Between 1981 and 1993 he held academic positions at the National University of Rosario (UNR). He holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from the University of Sarasota, USA (2006) and a Master in Business Administration (EMBA) from IAE Business School (1991). He graduated in 1981 as a Certified Public Accountant and Bachelor of Administration (UNR). He is the author of research papers and case studies on topics related to Corporate Finance, Economics, International Business and Strategy, having published in journals such as: Financial Accounting Journal; Journal of Corporate Finance; Valuation, Capital Budgeting & Investment Policy. He is co-author, with Robert McGee, of Chapter 14 of the book “Taxation and Public Finance in Transition and Developing Economies: A Survey of Argentina on the Ethics of Tax Evasion” (Springer, New York, 2008). He served as Associate Editor of the Journal of International Business: Research, Teaching and Practice, published by the International Business Academy, South East Chapter (2010), and is currently a member of the Council for International Studies at the University of Warsaw. He has been and continues to be a visiting professor at universities such as the University of North Florida, Georgetown University, IPADE Business School, Mexico, and the University of Montevideo and IEEM Business School, Uruguay. He is currently a director of Matba Rofex and a member of the Board of Directors of the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange. Rosario (Treasurer).
