At the Institute of Philosophy of the Universidad Austral We celebrate the wide impact that Little Hero It has received coverage in major national media outlets. This digital program, developed to teach empathy, gratitude, and solidarity to children aged 9 to 11, was highlighted by media outlets such as La Nación, Clarín, La Voz del Interior, Cadena 3 and numerous regional newspapers, as well as radio and TV programs, highlighting its innovative approach and proven results. The coverage consistently emphasized how Little Hero It transforms technology into an ally of children's moral development, demonstrating a strong public interest in initiatives that integrate values and digital education.
The program, led by Dr. Belén Mesurado, Deputy Director of the Institute of Philosophy, Principal Investigator at CONICET, and professor at our University, uses a video game in which children complete missions related to acts of kindness, gratitude, and cooperation. Associated research has shown significant increases in empathy, prosocial behavior, and emotional balance, effects that are sustained over time.
The sustained presence in national and provincial media reflects not only the scientific impact of the project, but also its social relevance. At the Institute of Philosophy, we value the visibility achieved and reaffirm our commitment. a vocation to promote initiatives that foster ethical development and human flourishing from childhood.
