On August 23 and 24, we were visited by Dr. Karen Sanders, professor and researcher at St. Mary's University, Tickenham, England. In addition to participating in the Compol Marathon, she gave a two-day open seminar on government communication at the Buenos Aires campus, which drew a large audience in its virtual format. In the first session, she discussed what governments can learn from highly trusted organizations (for example, those in the health sector). In the second session, she spoke about personal branding in government communication and explored the characteristics of populism. Damián Fernández Pedemonte, Fernando Ruiz, and Mario Riorda also contributed presentations on the topic.
We thank Karen for her generosity and willingness, and we hope she will visit us again soon 🙌
