We welcomed the first cohort of the new Master's Degree in Marketing, developed jointly by the Faculty of Communication and Faculty of Business of the Universidad Austral, a collaboration that will allow the integration of a comprehensive view of marketing through the choice of two orientations: commercial management or strategic communication.
The opening remarks were delivered by the co-directors of the master's program, Esteban Pittaro y Martín Pico Estrada, who shared with the students the main academic guidelines of the proposal and highlighted the practical approach that will run throughout the course.
During his presentation, Martín Pico Estrada He emphasized that the master's program aims to integrate academic knowledge and professional experience to strengthen decision-making: “The university provides that connection between the abstract and the concrete. One can incorporate all that accumulated learning and add it to one's own experience, to what each person brings to each particular case.”
For its part, Esteban Pittaro He reflected on the transformative nature of learning in postgraduate education: “When knowledge becomes competence, it acquires meaning. At the university, we work to ensure that this knowledge is transformed into a concrete capacity for action and professional development.”
