Professor and researcher of Public International Law and International Human Rights Law at the Pan-American University, Guadalajara Campus (Mexico). PhD in International Law from the University of Geneva (Switzerland), with a distinction. magna cum laude, and Master in International Law from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies from Geneva.
She serves as General Editor of the journal Perspectiva Jurídica and as Editor of Legal Developments of Latin American and Caribbean Journal of International LawShe is also a member of the scientific committee of the International Journal of Human Rights of the Universidad Austral (Argentina).
She has been a research assistant in the Department of International Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Geneva and has undertaken research stays before the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights and the United Nations Human Rights Council.
She is a member of the National System of Researchers and has numerous publications in international academic journals. She is the author of the book Plurality as the Core of Human Rights UniversalityPublished by Peter Lang (USA). She has been invited as a speaker at international conferences, including those at the University of Cambridge (England) and the University of Rosario (Colombia).
