Currently, the countries of the region refer to it in different ways: in Argentina, Day of Respect for Cultural DiversityIn Bolivia, it is Decolonization Day; in Chile, the Day of the Discovery of the Two Worlds; in Colombia, Mexico, Honduras, and El Salvador, Columbus Day; in Ecuador, the Day of Interculturality and Plurinationality; in Nicaragua and Venezuela, the Day of Indigenous Resistance; in Peru, the Day of Indigenous Peoples and Intercultural Dialogue; in Panama, Columbus Day, Day of the Race, or the Day of the Discovery of America; and in Uruguay, the Day of Cultural Diversity.
