As it does every year, the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) awarded its 2024 prizes for excellence in pain research and treatment in developing countries. This year, the recipients were Marcelo Villar, María Florencia Coronel, and Pablo Brumovsky, researchers from [the relevant institution/organization]. National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET) at the Institute of Translational Medicine Research (IIMT, CONICET – Universidad Austral) for their contributions to studies related to pain in Argentina.
