He holds a PhD in International Relations and Political Science from Koç University (Istanbul, Turkey). He currently serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the Catholic University of Argentina, where he also directs the Program of Studies on the United States. He is a Senior Associate of the Americas Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS, Washington, DC) and a member of the Board of Directors of the regional think tank Coordinadora Regional de Investigaciones Económicas y Sociales (CRIES). His major publications include the books “From the Indo-Pacific to the South Atlantic: Maritime Strategies of the Great Powers of the 21st Century” (Naval Publishing Institute, 2022) and “Confrontational and Cooperative Regional Orders: Managing Regional Security in World Politics” (Routledge, 2020), as well as articles in international journals such as International Affairs, International Politics, Foro Internacional, and Third World Quarterly, among others.
