“Latin American universities are lagging far behind in the global race toward sustainability.” This is the conclusion of a ranking presented by the British organization Times Higher Education (THE), which measures the educational quality of institutions from various perspectives. This time, the ranking assessed universities' progress toward the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations for 2030, which, in some countries, including Argentina, have been challenged by their governments.
