Of the 25 Argentine universities participating in 2024 QS World University RankingsThis year, Austral is positioned as The privately managed university with the best reputation among employers, and the second in the country among both public and private universities., behind the UBA. This positioning is in line with Austral's current position as No. 1 among private universities in Argentina for Employability in another QS ranking, called 2022 QS Graduate Employability Rankings.

In the overall ranking of Argentine universities in the 2024 QS World University RankingsOf the 25 universities, only one improved its position compared to last year; and among the top five universities, Austral was the one that has fallen the least, reaching almost second place at just 0,1 points.

According to Academic Secretary of the Universidad AustralDr. Julio Durand“This year’s QS World University Rankings show marked volatility for the subset of institutions in our country. This isn’t the first time this has happened, but the magnitude of this year’s changes doesn’t help with analysis and long-term projections. This is especially true considering the numerous methodological changes QS has introduced.”

For his part, the rector of the Universidad Austral, Mag. Julián RodríguezHe considers it a significant achievement that, year after year, “our university is recognized as one of the best-positioned institutions in the region, especially in terms of the quality of its programs and the relevance of the scientific output of its professors. Being a young and small institution, it already enjoys an outstanding reputation.”
