On September 1st and 2nd, the 3rd National Meeting of Universities MetaRed ICT, X and S Argentina 2025, at the UCA Puerto Madero Campus.

ICT MetaNetwork Argentina brings together the people responsible for Information Technologies and other areas related to the Digital Transformation of Argentine Higher Education institutions.

MetaRed X Argentina is calling on the people responsible for entrepreneurship offices, while MetaRed S It is intended for the areas of sustainability, social responsibility and ethical governance of Argentine Higher Education institutions.

The event, organized by Universia, brought together rectors, authorities and representatives from different universities in the country with the aim of promoting academic collaboration and joint work around these three axes.

The opening was led by Gabriela Lúquez, executive secretary of MetaRed S Argentina, who highlighted that the meeting integrates the three networks with a common purpose: "to address the challenges and seek solutions from Argentine universities."

Our Rector, Mr. Julián Rodríguez, president of MetaRed X Argentina, urged everyone to experience the events “with an open mind, an interest in learning, and a willingness to make contacts and contributions”.

The meeting included a discussion with university presidents, which featured the participation of Andrés Agres (ITBA), Larisa Carrera (National University of the Littoral) and Omar Larrosa (National University of the Northeast), moderated by Julián Rodríguez.

During the event, the 2025 strategic lines of the three networks were presented, along with international experiences, a case of inter-network collaboration from Chile, and the awarding of international prizes.

Finally, parallel working groups, networking spaces and a final sharing session were held, which allowed for the synthesis of the main challenges and joint proposals for the coming year.
